Role Overview:

We are looking for 2 skilled and reliable wood products assemblers to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling cabinets and other wood products in our factory, using various tools and machines.

What will you do in this role?

·         Read cabinet orders, identify different models, and put them together according to diagrams.

·         Use hands, tools, and machines to prepare wooden parts, sanding each part to make them smooth.

·         Operate hydraulic or pneumatic machines to join the parts of a cabinet.

·         Check the assembled cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

·         Strengthen assembled cabinets with dowels or other supports and install hardware like knobs, hinges, and slides.

·         Help with the maintenance of machines.

·         Work closely with other assemblers, production staff, and supervisors to coordinate tasks and improve workflow.

·         Prepare finished products for shipment by packaging them appropriately.

Job Requirements:

Expected Qualifications

·         High School Diploma or High School Graduation Certificate is required

·         Experience as a labourer in the same industry is an asset.

·         On-the-job training is provided.

·         Read and speak English
