Role Overview
We’re actively seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join us. As the expansion of our business brings us more staff, we need an Administrative Officer to ensure smooth operations and streamline administrative processes, allowing us to focus on our core business. The Administrative Officer is responsible for managing various administrative tasks and providing support to the team in various administrative aspects. An Administrative Officer plays a vital role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting us in achieving goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Officer, you will:
1. Continuously evaluate and streamline administrative processes to boost efficiency and improve customer service at the laundry store.
2. Prioritize tasks, distribute work among staff, and ensure that all deadlines are adhered to, and standard operating procedures are consistently followed.
3. Oversee customer interactions, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of orders and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.
4. Plan and manage essential store services including equipment maintenance, inventory replenishment, cleanliness standards, and security protocols.
5. Assist in creating the store's operating budget, tracking inventory, and ensuring budgetary compliance to optimize resource utilization.
6. Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence related to store performance and operational efficiency.
7. Supervise store staff, provide support, and manage employee schedules and performance evaluations.
1. A minimum secondary school diploma is required.
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is required.
3. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.
4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite as well as other relevant software and tools necessary for administrative tasks.
5. Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
