Key Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will:

-          Assist in basic food preparation including wash and peel vegetables and fruit.

-          Clean kitchen equipment, kitchen utensils, as well as food preparation and storage areas.

-          Load and unload dishwasher.

-          Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.

-          Receive and store goods in different areas of the kitchen.

-          Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:

Expected Qualifications

-          Some secondary school education is required.

-          No experience is required, will provide on-site training.

-          Good health condition.

-          Ability to lift and carry heavy items properly.

-          Demonstrated interest in food preparation and kitchen operations.

-          Basic cleaning and maintenance skills.

-          Speak and understand English.

-          Knowledge of bakery and cooking in general.

-          Courses in first aid, foodsafe and handling of workplace hazardous materials are assets.

-          Time management skills.

-          Basic food preparation skills.
