Role Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Student Services Counsellor to join our thriving team. As a Student Services Counsellor, you will play a key role in managing the daily routine of students and building and maintaining good relationships with students. This role requires a combination of education management experience, communication skills and a passion for education. What will you do in this role?

·           Guarantee basic student management services. For example, participate in and coordinate the student orientation programs, transfer student records, evaluate scholarship, etc.

·           Provide guidance to students on the selection of courses and programs and examine students’ attendance and learning progress according to the timetable and course schedule.

·           Maintain good contact with students and their parents. Provide information about the development and prospects of the College information such as the college atmosphere, faculty composition, professional development courses, etc.

·           Establish and coordinate study groups and seminars. It includes class meetings with special themes, exam training, exam preparation strategies, time management skills, etc.

·           Counsel students regarding personal and social issues, including depression, sexuality, eating disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, family problems, relationship and interpersonal skills, and emotional management.

·           Provide students with career planning and guidance services. Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, personality, vocational, aptitude and interest tests.

·           Guiding resume writing and teaching interview skills and job search strategies, also providing them with a wide range of educational and career information.

·           Arrange campus recruitment for graduates, connect and coordinate with possible employers, provide recruitment information to students, and organize recruitment and interview activities.

Job Requirements:

Expected Qualifications

·           Minimum bachelor's degree is required, master’s degree or above is preferred.

·           Minimum l year of relevant professional experience in a college, university, or other educational institute.

·           Excellent management and communication skills.

·           Advanced relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

·           Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·           Guiding skills in psychological and employment.

·           Centered on serving students.

·           Conscientious and responsible.
