Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented cashier to join us in delivering top-notch experiences to our valued customers. As a cashier, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth transactions, providing friendly assistance, and maintaining a tidy shopping environment. What will you do in this role?

·         Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

·         Identify the price, scan and bag items for customers and handle any necessary returns or exchanges.

Provide weighing services to customers who intend to buy produce or bulk foods.
·         Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

·         Processing cash, credit, and debit card payments in compliance with store policies and procedures.

·         Answering customer inquiries and providing information about products, promotions, and store policies.

·         Keeping track of inventory and alerting management when supplies are running low.

·         Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Expected Qualifications

·         Some secondary education is required.

·         No experience is required, on-the-job training will be provided.

·         Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

·         Basic math skills for handling transactions.

·         Reliability and punctuality.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Familiarity with basic computer operations is a plus.
