Job Description
T.J. Greenhouses & Orchard Ltd. located 10307 – 74 Avenue Osoyoos British Columbia V0H1V5 Canada is seeking to hire 8 full time Farm Workers who can perform the following job duties:
· Planting, pruning, tying, suckering, tucking, crop thinning
· Harvest berries in a safe, efficient manner, ensuring productivity
· Sorting and Examining produce for quality
· Preparing for market
· Perform Greenhouse work and other general farm work
· Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
· Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce
Work Condition: Fast-paced environment, Work is physically demanding and involves a combination of siting, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
Skills Required: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads.
